Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Aan WhatsApp assistant at aan.live. By messaging Aan, you agree to them.
1. What Aan is
Aan is a personal-productivity assistant delivered through WhatsApp. It is provided as is during a beta period, with no guaranteed uptime and no service-level agreement.
2. Acceptable use
- You agree to use Aan for personal productivity purposes only.
- You will not use Aan to send spam, abuse, or unlawful content.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or overload the service.
- You will not impersonate another person.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations.
3. Your account
Your "account" with Aan is identified by the WhatsApp phone number you message from. Protect your WhatsApp account — anyone with access to it can interact with Aan as you.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you send Aan (messages, routines, notes). You grant Aan a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service. See the privacy policy for details.
5. Third-party services
Aan integrates with WhatsApp (via Green API), Google (Gemini for language understanding; Calendar API if you opt in), and Cloudflare. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes in those services.
6. No warranty
Aan is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Reminders can be late or missed for reasons outside our control (scheduler issues, WhatsApp delivery delays, upstream API downtime). Do not rely on Aan for medication reminders, safety-critical scheduling, or any situation where a missed reminder could cause harm.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aan's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim (USD 0 during the beta).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via WhatsApp. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
9. Termination
You can stop using Aan at any time by blocking the WhatsApp number or requesting account deletion at company@aan.live.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jerusalem.
